C hildren’s Museum of Napa Valley will be a safe learning environment full of adventure to spark curiosity in young minds. It will be rich in hands on, interactive exhibits and thematic programs tailored to the diverse skills and interests of life long learners, with a focus on children birth to 12. Families will be encouraged to learn together. The museum will utilize an interactive , bilingual and multi-sensory approach, while celebrating the beauty and history of Napa Valley. CMONV is an emerging museum in the fundraising and site selection stage and is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization.

  • An intentionally-designed indoor and outdoor learning environment created to promote the development of essential foundational skills including: problem solving, self-regulation, executive functioning, socials skills and early math, literacy, scientific inquiry and art skills for our young guests through play.
  • Program development and exhibits centered around a theme approach reflecting local culture. Exhibits will include familiar aspects of the Napa community; such as our beloved hot air balloons, farmers’ markets, agriculture and viticulture, and doctors’ offices, all designed to promote intentional imaginative play for our young guests.
  • A central location formulated through community collaboration and partnerships with local business, organizations, and individual support.
